Merry Xmas

So thanks to the people who came out for our xmas show last friday in london, actually I think it was almost all people who we didn't know as most of our buddies were over at the joeyfat show (understandable). Prop's to Dr DB Crofts for doing both in one night though. Herculean. Anyway we have another Xmas show

22nd December Que Bar, Margate with Little Lights MERRY CHRISTMAS

then we'll be doing some stuff in the New Year..

10th January the luminaire in kilburn with our friends Six toes (this is tbc)

21st January AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION IN NORBURY.. at our mate Tim Holehouse's house party

Then in February we're planning some dates with Scot's electro pop types Uter down here in the south, and then in march up in scotland, so it's all bubbling under.. "this band isn't funny anymore" inches closer to release I actually saw the new stupidcat and silver rocket logo's being put on with my own EYES.

GOOD THINGS Dave and Lorraine's new Seriously Groovy release, which is a little girl called Niamh! well done them. In more boring news, charlottefield were good live last night in London, and the singing Adam's with a massively drunk Howard Monk on drums were great last week too. I am also enjoying people giving me presents early for xmas. It's a good vibe.

Thanks ALL!

Ta to all the people who put me on last week (luke and drew birdwar, andy and Meng' in manchester, Andy Lone Pilot in london, and Helen and CJ in Nott's last night) all the solo shows were really good fun! Thanks to everyone who came, and to those kind souls that bought a CDr too! Some more gigs over the next week or so, with the pair of us!

10th Decemberthe Star Guildford, with our old buddies caretaker and our soon to be buddies flatlands. Both of whom are significantly heavy ass.

16th December
The King's Head Crouch End, Xmas party for the Local people
Bikini Atol
The singing Adams
Hush The Many
Spencer de Vere

+ many more all doing 10 min's apparently, some drinking implied.

22nd December Que Bar, Margate with Little Lights MERRY CHRISTMAS

GOOD thingspicking up high on fire's "surrounded by thieves", Black Flag's "first four years" and Hot Snakes "automatic Midnight" in vinyl last night at the rainer maria show. also Rainer Maria playing "breakfast of champions" which absolutely ruled! And making your own fishcakes (i can thoroughly recommend it). Those at a loose end on the internet this week could also do worse than checking out a special show that went out on monday morning at 1am on radio 1. a tribute to the white album featuring, deerhoof, bardo pond, Part Chimp, songs of green pheasant, Lords, mark mulcahy, and a horde of others (inlcuding my other band Hey Colossus though they cut our version of Long long long off before we got the super hawkwind ending!) check it at radio 1

So thanks must be doled out toAndy Z' for his stirling efforts at putting on the show I played at the Betsy trotwood in london last week, there are pictures which also feature Simon" Fupper" Hughes, check out his BUSINESS. Looking forward to going up to Nottingham tommorow for Rainer Maria, then rehearsing for the Econoline ROCK band experience with Piers monday night, to prepare for severl two piece gigs in december, NB the shirt CDr's have nearly all run out, I think there's around 14 left.. and some of those are spoken for. So if you want one (bearing in mind I flogged about 20 over the course of the last three gigs), leave a message here. TA ian

The Voo Seven inch, I finally got a chance to listen to, great, catchy, buzzy, power pop type stuff, Future Corpses on State of distress, an embryonic Dirty 3/ Reynolds post rock band of goodness from my old college. (never mind, I don't hold it against them). Braising, (anything is good cooked in wine), Camera Obscura live the other day, and the new series of Peep show on channel 4.
